OVERVIEW OF KAPOHO TAJ PACIFIC VACATION RENTAL

Enjoy a tropical ecotourism vacation from this green-practices oceanfront sanctuary!

Relax into the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean and changing patterns of the tide pools. Perfect for the outdoor-oriented family. Learn about tropical marine life in pools in front of house and at adjacent WaiOpae Tidepools Marine Life Conservation District. This unique marine habitat  supports over 11 types of coral, 113 species of tropical fish, green sea turtles and an occasional monk seal.   It is one of only 11 marine preserves in Hawaii and the newest to receive this special designation. The library of educational books, field guides and posters helps you learn about marine life, tropical vegetation, birds, amphibians and Hawaiian culture. Watch sunrises, moonrises, fish, birds, whales, incredible stars from the property, enjoy the lush tropical gardens and of course the fabulous snorkeling right outside your door. The tide pools are warmer than the ocean, due to the volcano heating the subsurface water flowing into the pools, and support abundant and diverse fish.
