RATES FOR A MAXIMUM OF FIVE PERSONS

Book directly and securely with owner over the phone. The direct booking rate is $250/night base rental fee for a couple plus 13.25% State tax on rent, $125 towards cost of cleaning and a $165 damage/security deposit refunded if rental agreement conditions are fully met. Additional charges for up to 3 more persons may apply based on group composition (e.g., one family with children vs. two families with adult wage earners).

Our occupancy shows little seasonal variability, as winter brings the snow birds and others visit in the summer because school is out and many from the southern states come to cool off and enjoy our trade winds. Also, we do not negotiate discounts for longer term stays because our expenses stay the same and our caretakers need the income. We do provide complimentary additional cleaning and laundry for stays of 10 days and more.

Five-day minimum stay unless we have only a 3 or 4-day opening and don’t need to do maintenance. We do not entertain inquiries for less than 3 days. However, stays less than five days require payment in full to reserve. If requested dates total 5 days or more and your arrival is more than sixty days out, we only require 50% of the total cost as the deposit to secure your reservation. The balance is due sixty days prior to your arrival. If your requested dates are less than sixty days out, we require payment in full.

RESERVATION PROCESS

First, check the Availability Calendar. Then review the attached rental agreement regarding our refund policy and terms and conditions to stay in our home. If you would like to rent our home, submit your request on the inquiry form below. Once approved by owners, e.g., someone else didn’t just rent some of your requested dates, we will reserve your dates based on your e-mail commitment for 24 hours so you can secure your flights. The owner will fill in the rental agreement after your first payment and mail you 2 copies. Keep one as your receipt and sign/return the second. As soon as your signed agreement is received and your total payment is approved, the owner will email you a Welcome Packet with directions, the lock box code and details about what is provided for guests, useful items to bring, and grocery shopping suggestions.
